Due to popular demand, here’s the recipe for the popcorn that’s been showing up at The City. I’m a big fan of Alton Brown and his popcorn technique changed my life. At least the popcorn portion of it. You can watch his video demonstrating perfect popcorn here.
The popcorn I made for Halloween was just salt, pepper, a little cayenne, and dried dill. This morning’s popcorn was the first run at sriacha popcorn, adding a little to the cooking oil and also to the butter, in addition to fresh cracked pepper. Still working on that one.
