My dear friends, I’ve got an exciting announcement to make!

A few weeks ago, I teamed up with my pal Joel Fariss to launch a boutique branding studio with an affinity for startups. It’s my pleasure to introduce you to Horn & Tusk. 

We discovered there’s a huge need for designers in the startup world (especially tech companies) and the time was ripe with opportunity. We recently moved into Founder’s Co-op in South Lake Union thanks to a great relationship with the wonderful people at TechStars. Nestled in the basement, we’re surrounded by all sorts of amazing and fresh ideas being developed by some real passionate teams. It’s truly an honor to be right in the heart of the Seattle startup scene.

This puts us in an incredible position right now, as Horn & Tusk is the only branding studio in Seattle that solely focuses on equipping emerging companies with the creative culture they need to set themselves apart in a cluttered market where consumers purchase on gut instinct. We deeply desire to see the next wave of thinkers and builders take on the challenge of delighting their customers through smart branding and compelling storytelling.

An unexpected treasure during our Portland trip was a little shop called Yarnia. You can make your own skeins by choosing from walls of various colors and fibers. They wrap and sell it to you by the pound. Pretty cool and definitely worth a stop for the hard core knitter.
